Step 1 — Repair Type: HVAC, Plumber, Electrician, Roofer, Painter, Landscaper, or General Contractor.
Step 2 — Job Description: Each category has 7 specific job types. For example, HVAC shows: Furnace, AC Install, Duct Clean, Thermostat, Heat Pump, Filter, and Recharge. Plumber shows: Pipe Repair, Water Heater, Drain Clean, Faucet, Toilet, Sump Pump, and Disposal. Every category has a "Custom" option for unlisted jobs.
Step 3 — Condition Rating: A job-specific 5-point scale with contextual labels. "Pipe Repair" shows: Burst/Major flood (1-2), Active leak/Corroded (3-4), Slow leak/Seeping (5-6), Minor drip (7-8), Solid/No leaks (9-10). Each of the 49 job types has its own custom scale — 245 unique condition descriptions in total.
Step 4 — Cost: 7 preset amounts: $100, $250, $500, $1K, $2.5K, $5K, $10K — plus a custom input for exact amounts.
Step 5 — Warranty: 8 preset durations: 30 Days, 90 Days, 6 Months, 1 Year, 2 Years, 5 Years, 10 Years, and Lifetime. Or "No Warranty" to skip.
